@bugwandis why someone would make fun about federer’s crying? just asking I mean I have heard that many people said that that was strange and not from a man but that is soooo stupid . man cries as women do people cry, human beings cry, it is just a mormal thing.
federer is such a jerk – accept it nadal was better than you. im glad rafa won. federer cant even talk about anything other than himself. sore loser
What are you guys talking about? Federer said the best guy won. Federer critcized his own performance.
Some of you need to learn English if you can’t understand what Federer is saying. Take lessons from Nadal!
this guy hesitates to praise anyone but himself. . .
@4fabiola Yup!
omg roger federer is a complete asshole!! rafa fought for this win federer didnt “hand it over”. hes such a prick and a sore looser. rafas always so nice n federer just stole his glory here. tht interview from fererer was a disgrace.
this guy needs to learn some english….he will have many more press conferences in his life….c’mon rafa you can do better than this
Nadal is always polite and humble.
Love this kid.
why you need to hate on tennis player? that just weird
@MrRippy99 Clearly Nadal last year wasn’t playing his best tennis at the French. Plus, Nadal wasn’t 100 percent physically.
Federer is arguably the best tennis player of all-time. I’m not taking anything away from him.
However, even the most diehard Roger Federer fan has to feel a little empty knowing that Fed still hasn’t beaten Rafa at the french.
Meant to say “have never been”. Sorry…
@ibra49 And Nadal would have have been number 1 in the first place, if Federer didn’t get mono, but there’s no point going down that road… There’s no use making excuses. Injuries are a part of the game.
@spinnerNsports Winning a slam isn’t about beating one specific player. It’s about winning 7 matches in a row. No slam ever has an asterisk, no matter what the circumstances. Last year at the French, for once, Nadal wasn’t good enough to make the final. Federer seized his opportunity, and deservedly won the tournament.
Im pretty anti – Fed on this one. Rafa spent more time apologising for his win, than he did embracing it!
Rafa has far more class than Fed. True sportsman.
federer also had 7 grand slam titles at the age of 24.
@EmitFlestiKY And yet, when Rafa and Fed play head to head, Nadal usually comes out on top.
@ibra49 I agree. Federer’s 2009 French Open title comes with an asterisk. He never could beat Nadal at the French and he still never has.
@EmitFlestiKY Nadal is 24 and Federer 29 so when they’ll stop their carreer we’ll compare. 7 Grand Slam at only 24 is just impressive. Admit that.
I loved this win for Rafa, it was the best men’s Aussie Open final in a very long while
as for Roger, he was pissed off that he lost and even more pissed off that he lost to Rafa AGAIN….he had lost that epic Wimbledon final to Rafa a few months prior to this, as well as getting destroyed by Rafa in the French Open final before that….his annoyance is definitely understandable here
Federer would not have won Roland Garros if Nadal would not have been in such a bad physichal condition; the same for Wimbledon
hey don’t don’t be so mean to federer, he is the best player and he always will be
Too many Rafa jock-suckers on this site. Rafa will never get close to Fed’s Grand Slam total…He may be the best on clay, but Fed is the best all surface player ever. How many US Open finals has Rafa been in? What? Oh…Zero?
OZ Open wins: Fed 4, Rafa 1
French Open: Fed 1 , Rafa 4
Wimbledon: Fed 6, Rafa 1
US Open: Fed 5, Rafa 0
If Rafa ever gets close to 14 or 15 or 16 total; then talk to me about being better than Federer.
I agree Federer isn’t very sporting here. That’s very unusual though! He’s usually very good. Loosing a GS final must be heartbreaking, regardless of how many you’ve won previously. So criticising him for being a bit grumpy and crying is very easy to do when sat in front of the computer. Fed and Nad are BOTH awesome!
That was quite arrogant: “not always the best player wins…” WTF
REAL CHAMPIONS KNOW HOW TO HANDLE A DEFEAT, NOT ONLY A VICTORY.
Roger Federer knows how to handle a victory. Now, he should learn to handle a defeat as well. Then he will be a real champion and a gentleman, like Nadal is.
GO RAFA!!!
