i like nalbandian, not as boring as lots of others on the atp tour
@JiraiyaSama86
Yes, ofter when he plays he hasn’t the will to drive himself, but it wasn’t always so. He has won the Masters Cup against Fed after 2 sets down with 6:7 (6:8) 6:7 (9:11) 6:2 6:1 7:6 (7:3)
David is sometimes very nervous, and other times not and he can save lots of breaks even against Federer and Nadal what he has done several times. But the reason for his nerves and not winning a GS were often his bad services and.

David is sometimes very nervous, and other times not and he can save lots of breaks even against Federer and Nadal what he has done several times.
And he has not worked hard constantly like Federer and Nadal, but the main reason that he hasn’t won a GS was his bad service.
the only thing i disagree is that david has a lot lot lot of nerves he is really nervous but the rest your so right about DRivE and will because to win you need heart..
@aquaimmy nadal’s game in my opinion is still weak. he is just returning the ball and running most of the time and being defensive. that’s only gonna make his knees die out on him sooner, because of the constant strain he is putting on them from all the running and hustling.
It’s not just the physical part of his game that he needs to work on, but the mental. It’s not nerves, rather a lack of intensity, like he doesn’t have the will to really drive himself, the hunger. The reason why Nadal and Fed’s been able to win multiple slams and become number one is because they have to pure drive. That dive/will is more important than any hard work or talent. You can have both, but in a match you need that will/drive/intensity to pull out many wins.
nalbandian – 30 winners and 47 errors
nadal – 21 winners and 28 errors
stats never lie, nalby’s constantly going for the high risk shots whereas nadal is playing a bit more conservative and taking advantage of opportunities more relaxedly
great David is back. Good performance after 9 month injury break
@Jabenator you are total right
I just love watching tennis matches between these two great players.
If only Nalbandian had better fitness though… He’d be winning slams in my opinion, because he definitely has the talent.
would love to see that!
true. i’m happy that rafa won but sad that david lost. we all know that rafa is an unbelievable competitor that’s why i love him. but david’s skill is so great it’s so frustrating to see him bow out of tournaments so early. i hope next time they will not meet so early in the draw…:D
nice
nadal has been really well lately he should do well this season VAMOS RAFA!!!
Nadal is realy back now.I hope he continues playing like this and we will see great tennis this season.
nadals playing much better than say a month ago
nalbandian has a great backhand…
nalbandian will be back to top 10 soon =]
you could still see that nalbandians playing style still hurts nadal even now, but as u saw nalby was a little rusty, and probly not used to the physical toll since hes been sidelined for so long. pretty good match overall by rafa, nalby can still trouble rafa it seems, but not as much as usual today, but that was understandable, given the situation.
this court/stadium looks small.
