The Sampras powerful serve & volley would take care of Rafael Nadal. Do you agree?

Nadal can outlast anyone when it comes to long baseline rallys. How do you think he’d perform against an explosive serve and volleyer (which doesn’t exist in today’s game) like Sampras or Edberg?

Rafael Nadal Should Take Some Time Off To Fully Heal His Knees

Rafael “Rafa” Nadal’s medical tests have come back and state that he has a small tear in his tendon and will be our of competition for four weeks. This comes after the injury he suffered during the Australian Open quarterfinal match against Andy Murray last month.

Tennis.com reports:

“As I mentioned in Melbourne after my match and at the airport as I landed in Spain, I know this is not the same injury I suffered last year,” said Nadal in a statement. “I feel good and I am only thinking now of recovering well. My main goal right now is to get ready again and fit to play the upcoming events once I am able to compete.”

I think it might be a good idea for him to take some extra time off. I know he and the doctor say he can comeback in four week and will be practicing in two, it could help to give his knee some extra time. He has accomplished a lot already in his young career, but he is still very young in his career and in the interest of him having a long career taking some more time than said to be necessary could work out for the future. I understand there are sponsors involved and it is in their best interest to have him on the court and infront of the cameras, but if he really sat down to think about it I think he might see it a bit differently. It truely is amazing that Roger Federer has gone through his career with no major injuries. I’m in your corner Nadal I love watching you play and that’s precisely the point, I would like to keep watching you for years to come, save your knees.
