Taking note of the recent breakthroughs of the younger generation like Djokovic, Murray, Tsonga and Gasquet, how much more slams can go Roger’s way?

How many more slams will Justine Henin win before she retires?

She’s 27 and look pretty fit but for some reason I don’t see her winning more than 4 more… not even 3! She claims she’s content with her accomplishments but just want to win Wimbledon which I just don’t see happening as long as the big hard hitters like Sharapova, Venus, and Serena are on tour,,,,, they’re just too good on grass… TOO GOOD!

Maybe they will get an injury or bounced out in an early round so she doesn’t have to face them!

She has 7 now…. how many more years do you think she will play and how many more slams will capture?

She lost to the great Serena Willims in the 2010 Australian Open final and her slam finals record isn’t so hot… she’s 7-5 in grand slam finals

But yea, how many more slams for henin?

I think she can win 1 a year, maybe 2 in one of the next 5 years if Serena is injured or playing poorly and Sharapova doesn’t come back on fire and the young up in comers dont raise their game!

I feel maybe 3-4 more giving her 11 slams

Do you think Rafael Nadal could win all 4 Grand Slams this year?

Do you think he could win a calender grand slam? I know it hasn’t been done in forever, but do you think he has a shot?

I think he has a decent chance. He’ll win the French Open for sure, he has a strong shot at Wimbledon, and he’s already proven he can win a hard court slam. I think as long as he doesn’t burn out by the US Open he has a fighting chance.

Now that the Australian Open is over and Serena Williams fought through and earned the first Slam of the year, how many do you think she has in her for 2010? I personally believe that she can bring in the Wimbledon and US Open as well. What do you think?

This year round, the Australian open Grand Slams are scheduled to be held from 19 January to 01 February 2009 where the world’s best tennis players will showcase their abilities to millions of tennis fans worldwide. Like every year, the Grand Slam tournaments will hold men and women singles competitions, including men’s, women’s and mixed doubles as well as junior’s and master’s competitions.

Australian Open 2008 saw some of the most active and physically fit players, battling for the Grand Slam victory. Novak Djokovic from Serbia took the men’s single crown by defeating Jo-Wilfred Tsonga from France in the final. Maria Sharapova from Russia breezed through the last two weeks of the tournament without the loss of a set against former world number one Ana Ivanovic from Serbia. Maria Sharapova showed tennis scores of 7-5 and 6-3 after overcoming a season riddled with injury.

2009 is expected to be no less, as Australian Open tournament 2009 promises to be an event of epic proportions, due to the prize money which is being offered as well as due to the spectators who are expected to make it to the grand event.

The Early Rounds are scheduled from Monday 19 January to Thursday 22 January, 2nd and 3rd Rounds from Wednesday 21 January to Saturday 24 January, Later Rounds from Sunday 25 January to Wednesday 28 January, and the final rounds from Thursday 29 January to Sunday 01 February 2009.

Novak Djokovic will again be playing to defend his trophy, against players like Andy Murray from Scotland and Roger Federer, along with a few others. Americans John Isner and Christina McHale have also earned wild card entries into the 2009 Australian Open men’s and women’s singles main draws by winning the United States Tennis Association wild card tournaments.This year will be one exciting year, which is not to be missed at all.
