What is the reason that people should protest over Sania Mirza’s marriage to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik?

Are those awards a recognition of her proficiency in tennis or was it given as a form of charity? It seems that she has done her country proud as a tennis star. Does she deserve these acrimonious comments and intrusion in her personal life in return?

I was amazed to read some of the replies given by certain Indians here. The only issue these people have is that Shoib is from Pakistan and that she practices the muslim faith. I’m sure these comments must hurt the good and nationalistic Indian muslim people very deeply as I had earlier witnessed in OurMehfil (our forum).

For some people one should not expect much..but some others..very surprising!!

Is India as a nation jealous of Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik realtionship ?

I want all of you to be honest if your muslim or indian. Is India as a nation burning with jealousy as to why Sania Mirza married Shoaib Malik and the way she deeply loves him. Did you see the pictures of her mehendi where she was holding hands with her hubby Shoaib, and did u watch or read some articles after the weddign they gave. the articles contained info such as we have become closer after the ayesha controversey, our relationship has become stronger, also a family friend of mirza wrote in an article that they are so in love with each other they couldn’t take their eyes of each other at the sangeet.
Here is my view on this, Personally i think India is jealous of her relationship with Shoaib and they are finding it very had to digest this. They wanted her to choose an indian but she rejected all the indians and fell in love with a muslim from pakistan.

ok so some of you might have heard about sania mirza and shoib malik’s wedding

i was talking to an indian (muslim) guy and he was quite angry at the wedding because the girl was indian and the boy was paki. he said you guys are celebrateing so much over it and makeing it a disgrace on india. would you do the same if the girl was paki?

i said. well what is there to mind if the girl was paki? 2 muslims are wedding what does country has to do in it? actually that would have also been good because then the next generation would not be like you and me who are redy to kill each other any second. and we will have a good future.

he then asked me then why are you people teasing india so much by giving them so much and prepareing like that. so many rich people have done so much for them just for the wedding. why so much for a wedding?

i said well those hindu jerks called shiv sinna made an issue and then there was this politically made issu of aisha and then india took away shoaib’s passport. so if you guys tease us you well know we are “atal nidar dheet ziddi” (unstoppable, stiff , unbreakable, stuborn) so we will tease you more. so if you put barriers in the wedding we tease those hinddu shiv sinna like that.
and anyways shouldnt you be happy over this wedding because 2 muslims are connecting 2 countries for god’s sake.shesh!!!\
