The Sampras powerful serve & volley would take care of Rafael Nadal. Do you agree?
Nadal can outlast anyone when it comes to long baseline rallys. How do you think he’d perform against an explosive serve and volleyer (which doesn’t exist in today’s game) like Sampras or Edberg?

Regarding tennis, is there a website that shows a player’s holding serve and breaking serve record?
OK everyone knows Isner-Mahut game by now. Simply unbelievable. Literally. How often the word ‘unbelievable’ is used when it is never really meant, this is the right usage.
But beyond their heroics and valiant spirit to keep on going (even when certain players already reached the third round) certain analysts said the length of the match is contributed due to both players’ superiority in holding serve and their lack of ability in breaking opponent’s serve.
I read this very interesting article here describing that:
http://blogs.wsj.com/dailyfix/2010/06/24/isner-fitting-winner-of-marathon-wimbledon-match/
And I wonder is there any tennis websites that is dedicated to players’ statistics, especially them holding their serves and breaking opponents’ serves. For example, Player A held 120 out of 130 of his serves in 2009 throughout ATP tours, something like that.
It would be very interesting (or could be excruciating) if a good-serving bad-returning player meets a carbon copy of himself in another non-USA-Open Grand Slam.
As the article says, “The result was a match that would never happen again, as Isner said when he left the court Wednesday. Unless, that is, he runs into Karlovic at a Grand Slam without a fifth-set tiebreak.”
