Has Maria Sharapova been branded the next Anna Kournikova?

Recently:
• Maria just lost a 3 setter to Zheng Jie at BNP Paribas Open.

• Currently she’s ranked # 13 in Women’s Singles.

• What was her last, most recent victory?

• …and, what was her last, most recent finish in an open of any city?

It seems she’s getting more attention for her dresses/clothes that she wears lately, most recently the Australian Open and her early exit and the outfit that caught the media’s ire.

Do you think Federer will get his nr.1 rank back next year?

I honestly wouldn’t count him out yet. He is the current champion of Australian open. Hard courts have always been his favourite surface(and grass). This year was a bit worse than usually but he still has 8 years straight with winning at least 1 GS/year. And remember 2008? Same thing, only 1 GS win (US open) to Fed in -08 but next year, 2009, he won French open and Wimbledon and reached into final in Australian open and US open. So he was in the finals every time. So, you could imagine it might very well happen again next year…

And he did make some records again this year too, by reaching the semifinals in US open, Federer achieved his 20th match win in 2010 grand slams; this is the seventh consecutive year he has accomplished this feat, a record matched only by Ivan Lendl.

And besides, Rafa will have a lot to defend next year.
CLT, I ment NEXT year. During next year.

Do u think Fed will lift his 1st throphy at Estoril Open which will start next week – this is clay?????

Note that Nadal will not play on this event and Djoko i think will not also play (Djoko is the defending champ at Estoril Open), Though never seen the draw but for sure – there are lots of clay especialist players that will give Fed a run for his money.

Why do people think that Maria Sharapova won’t win a grand slam next year?

On a website there was a poll which asked “Will Maria Sharapova win a grand slam next year?” And 66% of the people said “no”.
This year she reached the final of the Australian Open & semi in French which was the first time 4 her to do so.
Her serve has changed coz her shoulder is killing her, So i think next year she will come back fresh and amazing as always. And i think she will definately win a grand slam
Don’t you agree????
