Why do people think Rafa Nadal is better than Roger Federer when clearly The Fed is the best ever?

Roger Federer will eventually overtake Pete Sampras in Grand Slam tournaments won and total number of weeks ranked at number 1 in the world. And The Fed WILL win the French Open!! How many Grand Slams has Rafa won? Case closed!!

Are Venus and Serena Williams the only two sisters to ever play each other at Wimbledon?

I know they’ve played each other in the past, but I don’t know if there were any other sisters (or brothers) that have ever played each other at Wimbledon at the finals.

Can the player Roger Fradera ever be as good as Roger Federer>?

Fradera is an up and coming spanish tennis player, whose game is built on massive ground strokes deep from the baseline, and a whimpy serve to add the icing to the cake.

Have you ever seen Roger Federer blow a lead that big before?

What was he up in that third set, 5-1? And he blew it in a tiebreak. Not that its a big deal, his legacy is secure, but has Roger ever blown a lead that big before? I’ve been watching him a long time and I can’t remember him collapsing that badly which is one of the reasons why he’s so great – his mental strength. Tsonga did raise his game but Roger’s definitely deteriorated as well.

Do you ever suspect Roger Federer of being a bit Smug?

He always seemed a bit smug in interviews, and his graciousless reactions to losing to Nadal seem to show his true self. Either Nadal is a much better actor than Federer, or he’s genuinely the much nice person. What do you guys think?

I KNOW it’s a pre-serve ritual or whatever you may call it,but he’s getting older now,it’s not funny.Imagine him having kid’s like Roger Federer and still doing it!

Why is it that some people count Federer out and say he should retire and he’s not gonna win ever again?

What is this? Because he won “only” 1 Grand slam this year? Since when has winning a Grand slam meant that this person should retire? Just imagine Andy Roddick, if he had won one of the Grand slams this year, would you say “he’s a loser, he should retire already”. No, you would think he’s doing great. So, why Fed gets different treatment? Because he doesn’t win 3 GS/year anymore? Yeah, he’s past his prime. But he’s not out yet, come on. He won Australian open and made it to the QF’s in French O. and Wimbledon. And into the semis in US Open. And didn’t he win in Cincinnati?

And remember 2008? When he “only” won 1 GS(US open)? A lot of people were saying the same as now, but what happened next year, 2009? He made it into the final in every Grand Slam! 2 of which he won, French open and Wimby. And now Australian open this year. That’s 6 times in a row in the final (US open 2008-Australian open 2010). Just after people were counting him out…

So, how about we’ll wait a year, and if he’s still a 16-time GS winner, THEN we could start thinking he’s retirement. But so far, he hasn’t had a no-GS-win year yet. 8 years straight with winning at least 1 Grand slam/year. Which is an all time record shared with Sampras and Borg.

Will Pete Sampras ever come back?

He destroyed Tommy Haas in an exhibition match in 2008 in 43 minutes.
He won 1 match and went into a 3 setter in a 3 match exhibition with Federer in 2008.
If Federer wins this Wimbledon and Pete wins his exhibition match against his rival Andre Agassi I think Pete might play in Wimbledon 2010.
The guys game can can hurt a lot of players right now, though best out of 5 is a lot to ask, he is the king of grass, right?
Anyway I think he could still win a few titles after he’s done destroying outback hasbeens, what do you think?
I think he’s still got it, though he’s 37 he plays that net like a genius with the angles. Mccnroe said he would be a big threat if he entered the draw. I would like to see Sampras coach Federer, but that would be unfair to the other players, lol.

I just want to add that Haas is a talented player, only his injuries hold him back. He beat Djokovic recently and came very very close to ousting Federer at the french. And when you get beaten in 43 minutes in an exhibition match, you got beat, you didn’t let the old man have the win, you got beat by the old man.
