Gold de Cannes-Mandelieu (Old Course)
Founded in 1891 by the Grand Duke Michael Aleksandrovich of Russia, the 18-hole, 71-par, Old Course Cannes Mandelieu (originally the Cannes Golf Club) is split in two by the River Siagne and has a small adjacent railway. It is the fourth oldest course in France. Set in natural parkland and designed by Harry Colt, the course forces players to cope with the inevitable tree lines. Not an overly long course at just 5745 metres, the greens with their subtle slope will test a golfer’s all around skills coming off the moderately tight fairways. A classic course maintained in excellent condition. For 18 holes, visitors pay green fees of €90 with twilight rates available. Booking in advance required. Creating a Nurturing Atmosphere to Sell Your Home
Set up your bathroom like a hotel bathroom or spa: thick lush bathrobes hung on hangers, matching containers of shampoos and soaps on the countertop, rolled up facecloths in a ceramic bowl tied with a ribbon, these all help add to the spa atmosphere. You may want to buy a new set of lush white towels just for when home tours or open houses are going on as well so that you don’t have to scramble to find a matched set in your linen closet before buyers come.

Research Your State And Nearby Home Regulations
The U.S. has Federal and state constitutions that include clauses to protect an individual’s real estate rights. Nevertheless, real life interpretation of these protective clauses by the courts still allow the government organizations to restrict an owners’ rights as tightly as they want-so long as the home owner is able to benefit from certain real estate rights.

The Architecture of the French Riviera
Much of the architecture of the French Riviera traces to the Belle Époque or “Beautiful Era” bracketed by the latter half of the 19th century and the end of World War I. (For example, the Hotel Negresco in Nice.) The period was characterised by ostentation and extravagance, evident in many of the villas and hotels of the region.

Gastronomy on the French Riviera
The modern haute cuisine of the Côte d’Azur or French Riviera is called the “Cuisine du Soleil.” Like the storied sunshine of the south of France, the region’s gastronomy is light and fresh, based on a superb mix of the finest fruits and vegetables, with a heavy reliance on olive oil, garlic, and herbs of Provence including thyme, sage, and fennel.

History of the French Riviera – The War Years
In the latter half of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century, the Côte d’Azur, or as it is popularly known, the French Riviera, was home to the wealthy elite of both Europe and the United States, as well as to a thriving colony of writers and artists. Lying along the Mediterranean coast of the south of France, and bounded by Menton on the east and Hyères on the west, the region is known for its temperate winters and glorious, clear light.

This author Ms. Maria Mclean Burger truly has a burger in her head. She believes that readers are actually going to read about such a huge list of hotels, descriptions, and then. to call them because she provides phone numbers.
In addition, her ignorance makes her relate an area of Italy known as “Riviera” to “Côte d’Azur” which is the only name given to the Mediterranean Coast of France.
I continue hearing that women want to be equal to people other than women, but these examples expose the simplicity of minds meant by nature not to publish articles but to go home and stay there doing homely work. Yes, nature.

Cannes Film Festival : Summer Highlight on the French Riviera
The world-famous Cannes Film Festival (scheduled for May 12-23, 2010) was first held on September 20, 1946. World War II postponed the event’s intended 1939 inception, but it subsequently became the first major international cultural event of the post-war period. The festival has been held every year since 1946, with the exception of 1948 and 1950. In 1952, it was moved from September to May. and remains the premier summer event on the French Riviera, as well as the focus of global media attention.
The most prestigious award conveyed during the event is the Palme d’Or for the top-rated film of the festival. There is also a Grand Prize, a Jury Prize, and recognition of the “bests” in the categories of short film, actress, actor, director, and screen play. The board of directors for the Festival chooses the juries prior to each event. These panels are made up of a broad cross-section of international artists selected for the quality of their individual bodies of work as well as for the regard in which they are held by their professional peers.
The Palais des Festivals, which opened in 1982, is an impressive modern complex with premier sound equipment and technology for simultaneous translation. Visitors are attracted to the Allées des Stars year round for its impressive collection of hand prints and signatures of the great notables of the industry. In addition to its three auditoriums and 11 conference rooms, the Palais has both a night club and a restaurant, and is a glittering centre of unparalleled red-carpet celebrity watching during the festival itself.
Although unquestionably a venue for the rich, famous, and well-known, many top-quality, but lesser-publicised films can be viewed by tourists (without a press pass) for free during the festival. Interested parties can go to the registration area to acquire an “invitation.” It’s a good idea to arrive about an hour in advance. Film schedules are available at the local tourism office. “Badges” are also available and can be acquired before the festival. These will allow access to higher priority seating than an “invitation.” Most of the films are sub-titled in French only, although English sub-titles can be found in some of the larger cinemas. (Often interview with actors and directors precede the showing of the films, but these interview are almost always in French.)
The Cannes Film Festival is an important showcase for European films, but it also creates a unique platform for film producers to launch their new projects and to attempt to market their works to global distributors. The Marché du Film, held parallel to the main festival, is one of the busiest movie markets in the world and draws some 10,000+ buyers and sellers annually. It is a place where meetings are held, negotiations hashed out, and deals made. Consequently, the climate around the Festival is an important business venue with serious networking and investment opportunities, all set against the backdrop of a sparkling gathering of celebrities showcasing outstanding performances and great works of cinematographic art.
