Why can’t Roger Federer admit that he was beaten by one of the best tennis players ever?

His interview he refuses to give Rafa credit. Nadal came off the longest match ever at the Australian Open and turned around and played another 5 setter to beat Roger Federer. STOP USING EXCUSES FEDERER YOU GOT BEAT BY ONE OF THE BEST!!!!! VAMOS NADAL!!!!!!!!!
First of all I did not say he was the best but one of the best, second I probably have be watching tennis longer than you have been born, third I did not just jump on the bag wagon for Nadal I have always been a huge fan of Nadal. You compare records and yes Federer has more titles than Nadal but each time they play you see the fear in Federer’s eyes because he knows Nadal is the boxer of tennis and he can’t find a solution for that, also Nadal has beaten Federer more that Federer has beaten Nadal and furthermore if you listen to the day 14 interview you would know what I was talking about when I said Federer did’nt give Nadal credit for WINNING THE MATCH!!!! Not the interview on the courtside!!!!!
And who do you think caused him to make those errors DANIEL? Nadal caused him to make those errors cause Federer was trying so hard to beat him . That’s what Nadal does. VAMOS RAFA!!!!!
I heard very clearly and saw very clearly what he said and did (JONNY)on court. If you would have read everything I said you would have understood. I said the interview he gave to the reporters after the match off court he did not give Nadal any credit. LISTEN TO THE DAY 14 INTERVIEW PEOPLE!

Tennis- Serena advances while Nadal is beaten by Del Potro at the Sony Ericsson Open

Serena Williams beat her sister Venus Williams at the semifinals of the Sony Ericsson Open yesterday on a very interesting match, where Serena demonstrated again why she is the No. 1 seed of the World. The game ended with a 6-4, 3-6 and 6-3 making Serena reach the final and accomplish the record that Steffi Graf had of 5 titles at Key Biscayne, completing six titles in the last eight years.

Serena said that her sister is a great player and it was a very tough match; she was glad of being able to reach the victory, mostly after losing the last two matches in the sisters rivalry, so right now she feels very proud of herself for equalizing the head to head with Venus (10 wins each), but most of all, she’s delighted for remaining as the No1 seed; if she had lost, she will have been replaced by Dinara Safina in the No. 1 spot.

For her part, Venus was not as happy as her sister, “Even though she’s my sister, I’m still here to win,” Venus said. “I can’t give anyone anything. So I’m disappointed that I lost tonight, whether or not she kept the ranking. It was a well-fought match; my serve wasn’t going as well as I wanted. But she brought a lot of balls back and played tough.”

This victory will give Serena some advantage and now she is considered favorite against Victoria Azarenka from Belarus tomorrow in the women’s final. Azarenka won the semifinal match against Svetlana Kuznetsova and expressed that she feels very happy to play against Serena since she admires her very much, and thinks that she is a great champion.

On the other hand, the No.1 seeded Rafael Nadal lost against the Argentinean Juan Martin Del Potro in the quarterfinals with a 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(3) final score. A lot of Argentinean fans were in the public screaming for him and trying to give him the support that he needed to win the match against the best player of the world and it seemed to work; it made Nadal feel a little frustrated and desperate some times.

Del Potro was consulted after the match and he said that this was the best day of his life as a tennis player. For the first time, he thought that he was dominating the match with his great game against Nadal; Del Potro had lost the previous four games against the Spaniard and had not even winning one single set against before yesterday. So, this win meant the world for him since he was able to demonstrate he is a great player too.

For Nadal the game was a complete disaster. He said very honestly that he played bad the whole game and that it was very good match for the crowd but very bad for him. He also added that he could say many things that went wrong about this game, but in the end, the truth was that Del Potro played better than him and took advantage of the situation.

Now Del Potro will face Andy Murray in the semifinal on Friday and the winner of this match will face Novak Djokovic, who defeated No.2 Roger Federer, on the final of the Miami Masters next Sunday.

How can Roger Federer still be considered the GOAT when he is constantly being beaten by Nadal?

All the other great players such as Sampras, Laver, and Bjorn were never DOMINATED by another player in their era. And if Federer is considered to be the greatest of all time, shouldn’t Nadal also be taken into consideration since he has a winning record over Roger?
I’m just wondering why some people keep saying Nadal isn’t as dominant when you take clay out of the equation ( why would you dismiss that as irrelevant?) that’s like saying he would be even more dominant if you would take hard courts out of the equation for Federer
