Lu beat Roddick by playing a high-percentage, selectively aggressive match. He did a fantastic job of keeping Roddick on defense or in a neutral rally. While I expect a similar game plan from Lu vs Djokovic, I don’t think it’s going to be as effect. Djokovic is a much better mover than Roddick and is also stronger off the ground. Rafael Nadal vs Robin Soderling — Wimbledon 2010
bit.ly Rafael Nadal faces Robin Soderling in the quarterfinals of Wimbledon — a rematch of the French Open final they played several weeks ago. I suspect Soderling will use the same game plan he applied — with little success — in the French Open final. However, the grass courts should help Soderling’s powerful serve and booming forehand. He’ll definitely have a shot at this match if he can consistently stay on offense. Look for Rafa to play aggressively as well. He knows that his defensive style isn’t as effective on grass. In the previous round Nadal took the initiative as soon as he got a look and that’s something I expect to continue against Soderling, particularly because the Swede needs some time to set up and take big cuts at the ball.

Can Berdych win Wimbledon 2010?
Berdych beat Federer and Djokovic, but it’s the way he is beating them that has impressed me. I really think he can win his 1st grand slam now. Also, the betting odds favour Nadal heavily, But I am backing Berdych and might even put money on him.
